Original architecture invites original perspectives.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the completion of Sculptura Ardmore, SC Global partnered with Leica Camera Asia Pacific to present A Photographic Study of Originality\u2014a photography competition that invited participants to interpret one of Singapore’s most distinctive residential landmarks through their own creative lens. Rather than photographing the interiors, entrants were challenged to capture Sculptura solely from outside its grounds, revealing new perspectives of its sculptural form and relationship with the surrounding city.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

More than 140 photographs were submitted by 70 photographers and camera enthusiasts, including SC Global residents. As part of the collaboration, residents were also invited to an exclusive architectural photography workshop led by renowned photographer Francisco Marin, exploring the art of observing architecture through light, composition and perspective.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

A Photographic Study of Originality<\/span><\/h2>

Selected works were exhibited at the Leica Galerie within Raffles Hotel Arcade, where the exhibition celebrated not only the winning images, but the many ways originality can be interpreted. The collaboration reflected a shared belief held by both SC Global and Leica\u2014that enduring design is shaped by originality, precision and craftsmanship, and that the most compelling architecture continues to inspire long after it is completed.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n
