The arrival of Formula 1 in Singapore in 2008 marked the beginning of a new chapter for the city. As Event Title Partner of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, SC Global became part of that historic inaugural night race, embarking on a six-year collaboration that celebrated precision engineering, performance and design excellence.<\/p>\n

Staged against the dramatic backdrop of Marina Bay, the inaugural night race brought together 49 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in SC Global livery, creating a defining moment in Singapore’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Inspiring Originality<\/span><\/h3>

In 2011, the partnership evolved beyond motorsport with the introduction of the SC Global Art Car Project, inviting students from the Singapore School of the Arts (SOTA) to design the racing livery for the SC Global Racing team. Transforming the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car into a moving canvas, the initiative gave young artists a unique opportunity to apply their creativity within a real-world commercial environment.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Following the success of the inaugural competition, the programme expanded to include students from Nanyang Polytechnic and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. More than 365 entries were submitted, with the winning designs exhibited at Marina Bay Sands during the Formula 1 festivities, celebrating the originality and imagination of Singapore’s next generation of designers.<\/p>\n

Throughout the partnership, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia demonstrated how engineering, design, sport and creativity can come together to inspire new ideas, nurture emerging talent and celebrate originality\u2014values that continue to shape SC Global today.<\/p>\n <\/div> \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
