Original works of art are important inspirations for us all, evoking powerful emotions and inspiration. Thoughtfully placed art can enrich a space, creating a warm welcome for residents to contemplate art, nature, and life.

Reflecting our passion for art and design, the Group has a notable corporate art collection that is on display throughout the grounds of our properties and show galleries. The collection encompasses many different styles and mediums of contemporary art, with works by Sculptors Fernando Botero, Ju Ming, Sun Yu Li and Jaume Plansa, as well as a collection of artworks by Andy Warhol, Chua Ek Kay, Ye Jian Qing, Wee Shoo Leong and Lim Tze Peng.

Carefully selected sculptures and fine artworks from SC Global’s private art collection is managed and curated by Seven Palms Resorts Management and loaned to our properties to enhance the architectural landscape and enrich the living experience for residents. The scale of our estates gives residents the opportunity to enjoy larger art pieces by the likes of Botero, Ju Ming, and Plensa that one may not be able to consider in their private homes.

We believe that the true beauty of art is how it is shared, adding richness and new energy to a space to evoke different emotions. Residents can enjoy a rotating collection of artwork across our collection of properties providing new artistic experiences and inspiration for residents.

Giving Back

 

Original works of art and design are powerful inspirations within our everyday life. Through our sponsorship of major international art exhibitions and our project work with local design students, SC Global hopes to inspire the next generation of Asian artists to question traditional boundaries and find their own voice creating original concepts, whilst giving students a rare international platform to display their talents.

A is for Andy

SC Global was the presenting sponsor for the highly successful ‘A is for Andy’ Exhibition; the largest collection of Andy Warhol’s work to visit Asia featuring over 100 art pieces by the illustrious grand master of pop art. Warhol’s best piece of art was himself – the person and the art both bold, original and creative, artistic distinctions that resonate with SC Global’s corporate ideals and tagline “Own the Original”.

200 Artworks 25 Years Artists’ Editions for PARKETT

SC Global was honoured to be the presenting sponsor of this comprehensive exhibition of over 200 edition works, giving Singapore a rare opportunity to encounter a remarkable scope of artworks by some of the most significant artists in the last 25 years. It was also the first time that art by heavyweights such as Damien Hirst, Ai Wei Wei, Anish Kapoor, Maurizzio Cattelan and Tracy Enim were exhibited in Singapore.

SC Global Art Car

Design & fine art students from Singapore School of the Arts (SOTA), Nanyany Polytechnic and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts were invited to design racing car livery for the SC Global racing team, giving them a unique opportunity to learn and apply their talents within a commercial environment. The winning designs were on display as part of the pre-race activities, providing students with a unique opportunity to expose their creative talents to local media and an international audience.
